Bug Description
While Gedit application is open, switch to another application which allows mouse wheel scrolling, such as Chromium web browser, or Firefox, or LibreOffice Writer. Use mouse wheel to scroll up or down in the web browser. Switch back to Gedit and nudge the mouse wheel slightly. The Gedit window seems to be saving all mouse wheel scrolling commands from the mouse wheel while in Chromium and applying them to the Gedit window, causing the scrolling to jump to the wrong location in the document. If I scroll up in Chromium, then switch to Gedit and scroll down in Gedit, it will instead scroll up by the same amount that I scrolled up in Chromium. Gedit ignores the command from the mouse wheel and applies the scroll activity from the previous window instead. This bug does not seem to be affecting other applications which uses mouse scrolling. Chromium, Firefox, and LibreOffice Writer all work fine and do not jump. Only Gedit jumps to the wrong location on returning to the window and nudging the mouse wheel slightly.
