Bug Description

[idea]: the default mplayer skin that ships with ubuntu is really lame. Is it possible to have either more skins added, and / or change the default? just thinking on new users.

That's what the mplayer-skins package is for. Unfortunately, it is broken on feisty (fixed for gutsy though) and has only two skins. If you want more of them to be included, please make suggestions for skins that meet the requirements for inclusion:

- they must function with current mplayer
- they must have full licensing information included
- this license must be "good" (typically GPL or compatible)

As for changing the default skin just because one finds the current one "really lame", that is most unlikely to happen.

Agreed.... i chose the wrong wording! sorry about the rant.

I didn't know about the skin package... still don't like the the default skin at all (I wonder why gmplayer's own default was not used) however now I know how to change it ... so closing this one down...

TY!
