Bug Description
When I click remove volume in gnome, nothing happens. The device icon disappears, but the HD is still running. So basicly nothing happens. I have a Buffalo Drivestation.
I found this interesting line in syslog
Apr 22 14:50:07 xxx hald: unmounted /dev/sdb1 from '/media/HD-HBU2' on behalf of uid 1000
lsusb:
Bus 005 Device 004: ID 0411:002a MelCo., Inc.

I am having almost the same problem. When I (in gnome, via right click on the desktop icon) unmounts/ejects the drive a message pops up telling me the eject failed, and then the drive is remounted. I Have a Western Digital 250gb MyBook Essensial.
I have been running Feisty since early alpha and this behavior is quite new 1-2 weeks old or so. i.e. Earlier alpha versions of Feisty did not have this bug thus working as expected.
