Bug Description

When using LibreOffice and having a utility window open, the main LibreOffice window loses focus after using the global menu. Instead the utility window gets the focus, which makes the global menu disappear. So it's not possible to perform multiple actions in global menu without always clicking the main LibreOffice window first.

The attached video demonstrates the problem.

Interestingly, even after seeing the video it seems the issue is not happening for me using Raring Ringtail. But I am pretty sure that must not happen for me in 12.10 as well as there have not much changed since 12.10 in Raring.

I'll do a test later with a freshly created user account, to eliminate
any issues with user-settings, etc.

Behaviour is consistent here. Note that if you don't use click-to-focus,
however, that could hide the issue, as the mouse will typically be
hovering the main window, giving it focus.

Same problem with clean user; login, start LibreOffice, reproduce issue.

The problem is present in 13.04 as well.

How to reproduce:
1. Start LibreOffice writer with empty doc and make sure the style utility window is showing (press F11).
2. Focus main window.
3. Use global menu and select "Open file..". But then dismiss the dialog with "Cancel".
4. After dialog has closed, the utility window gets focus, which causes global menu to disappear.

Ubuntu 12.10 reached end-of-life so it's no longer supported. Can you
still reproduce this bug on 14.04 (or laters)?

The problem does not occur on Ubuntu 14.04, so it has been fixed at some point.
