I can also confirm that KVM installs CentOS 6.2 with no video corruption on the map page when you select 'where in the world are you'

I have now had chance to install lubuntu-raring onto my dedicated server (CentOS 6.3). The video corruption is the same. As that is a different kernel & KVM install, it does look to be a problem with raring.

I was asked by ikonia on #ubuntu+1 to try a Ubuntu install on the KVM system that I have on my CentOS system. It has the same video corruption. This is from http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/243/builds/30504/downloads
