Bug Description

I am not sure if the is a dependancy issue, or someone just did not take into account user preferance when developing this software. For example, I may want to use Chrom(ium) and remove Firefox, while keeping this package. While this break remote login altogether?

Ubuntu Version: Ubuntu 12.10
Package Version: 1.1-0ubuntu2
Detail:
~$ sudo apt-get remove firefox
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  firefox firefox-globalmenu firefox-gnome-support
  lightdm-remote-session-uccsconfigure xul-ext-unity
  xul-ext-websites-integration

lightdm-remove-session-uccsconfigure depends on firefox.

I think it should depend on the virtual package www-browser instead. When launching the browser, xdg-open could be used instead of the firefox command.

Agreed. Would this be better as a feature request then? I think it is a bug to have a lightDM package depend on a specific browser myself...

To this day, removing firefox removes any support for Remote session in Light-dm? Can someone give me an update?
