Bug Description

Main problem: Title prints duplicated and upside down, usually to the right of the title of the work.

I've been having this problem since Ubuntu Lucid, and it persists on Precise, which I use now. The work-around is making a pdf version of the work and printing from that one. On the pdf file the title appears correctly - no duplicates. But it is kind of inconvenient.
I've used MuseScore on other Linux distributions (for example, Arch) and they do not have this printing issue. Seems like an Ubuntu-specific bug to me. I'm using the latest MuseScore 1.2 package, available from the stable ppa.

Someone else also posted about this problem on MuseScore forums. See here:
http://musescore.org/en/node/18282

I'm attaching a scan of the top of a printout of a chart so you can see the problem.

Out of curiosity -- does this still affect you if you use version 1.3 (available in Ubuntu 14.04)?

Hi Toby.

Problem still persists on MuseScore 1.3 from Ubuntu's repositories. I'm using Lubuntu 14.04.

Strange. Since I don't think we'll see another 1.x release before 2.0, I guess we'll have to wait till then -- though Robert's comment does make me think it's an Ubuntu problem..

I too believe it's an Ubuntu proplem. I remember testing this out on Arch Linux and it prints out correctly.

Anyway, thanks for looking into this. I it is fixed on the next release (hopefully 2.0).

I don't have a printer, so I cannot test, but have you noticed this behaviour when printing from other non-KDE applications using the Qt4 toolkit? MuseScore 1.2 / 1.3 uses Qt4, whereas MuseScore 2.0 will use Qt5, so it could be something there.
