Thanks for your work. Please forward your patch to the libgnome-media-profiles upstream developers. I like to see your patch applied upstream (or at least discussed upstream) before uploading your patch to Ubuntu. I unsubscribe ubuntu-sponsors for now. Please resubscribe ubuntu-sponsors once the patch is upstream and you added a upstream reference to the patch header.

The patch header is incorrect. "Forwarded: not-needed" should be removed, because you forwarded it to upstream (thanks for that). The origin is used for something else. The Bug tag should point to the upstream bug report and Bug-Ubuntu to this bug (with a shortened URL).

I am not sure if your patch is important enough or if it is better to wait until the fix hit Ubuntu through an upstream release.
