[nvidia-glx] Problems with refresh rate after installing proprietary nVIDIA drivers

Bug Description
Before I installed proprietary nVIDIA drivers, when I went to System-> Preferences-> Screen Resolution, I had a resolution at 1024x768 on 85Hz. Just like it's supposed to be. After installing proprietary nVIDIA drivers, my resolution was still at 1024x768, but on 50Hz. I switched that on 85Hz in nvidia-settings and when I went to System-> Preferences-> Screen Resolution to check it out, it was on 100Hz. Every time I make changes in nvidia-settings, I save them (/etc/X11/
