Bug Description

Discussed in http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=410141:

When GenericName is used from .desktop files, this results in redundant information being displayed, such as

Firefox Web Browser
Web Browser

Using the comment field will probably be more suitable; for Firefox it would result in:

Firefox Web Browser
Browse the World Wide Web

which is the way it appears on the Applications menu (the comment being the tooltip)

Forum thread has gone, but I think the problem is elsewhere. Maybe Ubuntu have different policy, but "Desktop Entry Specification" states clearly that name shall be of type "Firefox" not "Firefox Web Browser".
