cannot change temporary folder

I cannot change the tmp-folder. When changing it and going back to preferences it will always be set to home folder. Maybe same with the destination location.. Only since one of the last ubgrades, no problem before.

same problem on temp folder and dest folder.

- change it
- close prefs
- open prefs -> empty

Looking at gconf-editor, the folder is OK but just don't appear in prefs window
