Bug Description
now I systematically get this when trying to boot kernel
Busybox v1.1.3 (Debian 1:1.1.3-2ubuntu3) Built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.
/bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
(initramfs)
Some other people have the same problem.
Note : this bug is differenet from UUID bug in menu.lst and appears right after the beginning of the boot sequence.

Now it works as I can boot all the time after re-installing GRUB (instead of LILO) and using UUID both in GRUB and fstab (instead of /dev/device).
