Bug Description

I noticed that my Quantal desktop was starting slowly, and found that ureadahead was not being started. Attempting to start it manually produced the output:

/var/lib/ureadahead/pack: No such file or directory
Counted 1 CPUs

ureadahead: Error while tracing: No such file or directory

This seems to be a bug since according to the manual page ureadahead is supposed to just generate a new pack file when none exists. Applying --force-trace did not make any difference.

I have since discovered that this problem relates to running a mainline kernel (to regression test another bug). Reverting to an Ubuntu kernel cured it. Sorry for filing a pointless bug report.
