reply to a message duplicates signature

When replying to an e-mail, the editor window pops with quoted text, then it blinks, and inserts the signature twice.

This appears to be https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=684249 though the initial report there is a little different. If it is the same, it's fixed in 3.6.1 (I'm using 3.6.0 from Ubuntu 12.10). It would be good to have this fixed in Ubuntu because it's a real pain to keep deleting the duplicate.

The fix is easily cherry-picked in ubuntu's evolution package ; I built a 3.6.0-0ubuntu4~bastien set of evolution packages, which effectively fixed this bug, with the attached patch

Upstream report is showing "RESOLVED FIXED" on 2012-10-04
So fixed in all currently supported Ubuntu versions.
