Bug Description

This has happened only once to me. I guess it's random.

I had Thunderbird open and maximixed. I moved the cursor to the left of the screen; the dock or panel with application icons appeared. I clicked on some icons, but the clicks somehow "went through" and reached Thunderbird behind it, having no effect on the dock.

I switched focus forth and back to different windows and tried again and the issue persisted. Then I unmaximized and remaximized thunderbird and the issue disappeared (not sure whether I had to do it twice, though).

When I had open Thunderbird, the system was a bit slow due to high RAM usage and paging (but when I observed the issue it wasn't any more), so it may be a timing issue where the order in which some things are done is not guaranteed but is usually right (which doesn't make it less of a bug).

Note this is not a minor issue (though one that apparently manifests itself with a very small probability). Guaranteeing 100% you-click-on-what-you-see is absolutely critical.

@Pietro, I don't think so, not that I know of.

Note that this doesn't happen systematically, I observed it just once up to now.

Pretty sure we already fixed that. Can you confirm?

I can't confirm, sorry, since I don't use autohide anymore plus this was never systematically reproducible in the first place.
