Bug Description

After installing a fresh Ubuntu install and enabling the latest Nvidia drivers in software sources - checking my atp log it appears to have installed nvidia-experimental-310 - compiz crashed then failed to load on boot.

My graphics card is Gigabyte 8600 GTS Silent Pipe 3.

As compiz crashes I've not been able to capture the report a problem dialogue, so the best i could manage is to include the results of "compiz --restart" run from the terminal.

Problem was a packaging problem with the experimental nvidia packages, they didn't include the dependencies required for compiling the module apparently.
