Bug Description
Pinta latest development on Ubuntu 12.04:
1. New image 500 x 500.
2. Paint Bucket and paint whole image with default black color.
3. Eraser and select Brush width as 10 px.
4. Point mouse to the canvas. On my LCD notebook the tip of the icon can't really be seen unless I move my head 10 cm to the screen. So I can't really tell where exactly will be an area to be erased.
Similar problem with Paint Brush (selecting non-black color and try to draw).
P.S. I would call this as a usability bug. Maybe mark the problem with Low priority.

With Pinta 1.4 on Mac 10.7.5, the Brush tool is not visible at all. When selecting the brush tool, I just get the normal mouse cursor arrow. Is that expected? Form the description of this bug, it seems to me like the mouse curser should change into the paintbrush image that is used on the Brush button in the Toolbox.
