Bug Description

When I try to add a new network printer, I receive the following error:

FirewallD is not running. Network printer detection needs services mdns, ipp, ipp-cli

... even after installing samba.

According to this thread (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1877449) FirewallD is a Fedora daemon. It's Gnome's fault. The only workaround that I know of is to use system-config-printer.

I can confirm that system-config-printer works without any problems.

I get this too but it does not prevent me from adding a printer. Seems to just be a hardcoded message that gets displayed while/before loading goes on.

Well, I have double-checked and still confirm that it still does not work even after installing samba (but not installing the recommended other packages: mdns, ipp, ipp-client, samba-client). So it does not find any network computers and shared printers.
