Bug Description
Binary package hint: kwin
I have the panel at the top of the desktop, with auto-hide activated, configured so that when I bump the top of the screen, it unhides. If I switch to multiple desktops and enable active borders, the top and bottom of the screen are set as the "hot borders", and this is not configurable. Because I already use the top of the screen for the panel, I'd like to set the left and right of the desktop as the "active" borders for desktop switching...but this isn't possible. Please add options to kcontrol to allow this.
(I see this as a bug rather than a wishlist, because the behaviour is broken.)
Thanks

Hi, thanks for your report. I don't think this is a bug, It's not the active borders that are the problem, it's the arrangement of your virtual desktop. Make sure you have the pager applet in your panel, right click > Pager Options > Rows > 1. Now your screens are side-by-side and you can use left and right. Closing as a bug, if you have any problems, re-open.
