Bug Description

Kubuntu 12.10 / VLC 2.0.4

1. Starting with vlc -vv
2. Playing some files
3. Exiting VLC

Messages:

The steps in <https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1190237#p1190237> resolved it for me too:

sudo /usr/lib/vlc/vlc-cache-gen -f /usr/lib/vlc/plugins
sudo aptitude reinstall vlc
