Bug Description

I noticed when installing Crunchbang 11 on my Lenovo x230 laptop that some of the icons have artifacts. I did not see this issue on Crunchbang 10. So far, I've seen the artifacts on the WiFi, Volume, and Terminal icons in the workspace/status bar. I will attach a screenshot to show what I am seeing. I believe my laptop has an Intel HD4000 GPU (IvyBridge) and am using the 2.1 Mesa 8.0.4 drivers.

I noticed the Thunderbird icon has considerable artifacting as well.

Disabling and enabling Compositing seems to have rectified the issue (at least for now).

For now I will mark this invalid as it doesn't seem to be happening with the workaround in comment 2. I'll reopen if this comes back.

This continues to be an issue with a fairly trivial workaround. It happens every time I restart my computer but I simply have to restart Compositing to work around it. This only seems to happen on my laptop (using an Intel GPU), not on my desktop (using an ATI GPU). Please advise how I can assist in the debugging process.
