Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Thanks in advance.

Yes this was a repeated issue, but on Feisty, I am testing Gutsy now. I will report when I do a feity install again.

Well if you can confirm with Gutsy it's even better! Because the fixes (if there are some) will go there first.

I just tried it in gutsy, seems to work just fine.
I will do a Feisty install in about a week, I'll report back then.

Ok, I'm marking this as fixed if it's ok in Gutsy. Thanks for feedback.

I doubt You should do that because the problem was reported for feisty not gutsy, I just tried it in gutsy.

I may be wrong but for me this is the policy of the bug team, after that we can backport or do an SRU to have the fix for feisty (if we identify what fixes the problem : here upstream has been dead for 3 or 5 years if I'm not wrong so the patch wasn't in gl-117 I think).

Okay, I am not very familiar with Gl-117 actually, but I will anyway install feisty again on that machine and try it again cause that's the only way I can help.

Did a Feisty install, updated all, still crashes.

Mmmm, until we identify what causes the crash we can't do anything. I think it can't be the gl-117 package as the source part didn't change for years!
