Bug Description

Running Linux Mint 14 from ISO. Pidgin is showing duplicate text when you are notified with a message.

For example, I send a message to a person, and when they reply back, and the window d0oes not have focus, the text that pops up in the upper right hand corner is duplicated.

It shows: Hi this is me. (then on the next line it repeats.)

This can be reproduced at all times on a Dell M5030.

I expected no additional text.

Additional info: This only occurs with text that is longer than 1 line.

Pidgin 1:2.10.7-0ubuntu4.1

The OSD notification reads:
"$USERNAME is online
is online"

However, in the Notifications applet, the text is correct:
"$USERNAME
is online"

Same here

I also noticed this with pidgin notifications, but as I tested, duplicated text appears in other notifications as well.

For example, command 'notify-send test "test1\ntest2" ' shows notification with text "test1 test2" duplicated.

Using Mint 15 x86_64 Cinnamon
