Bug Description

Attaching IRC logs:

<TheLordOfTime> [11/15/12 15:28:29] observations: we should modify the entrymsg or the topic ot say that there's no class session going on when the channel's not in use
<JoseeAntonioR> [11/15/12 21:53:53] nhandler: ^
<nhandler> [11/15/12 21:54:22] ?
<JoseeAntonioR> [11/15/12 21:54:56] nhandler: can classbot manage entrymsgs?
<nhandler> [11/15/12 21:55:37] JoseeAntonioR: Currently? No. But it should be trivial to add support for that. Just modify the source to change the entrymsg whenever it changes the /topic
<JoseeAntonioR> [11/15/12 21:56:36] nhandler: can you change the default topic to reflect there are no current ongoing sessions?
<JoseeAntonioR> [11/15/12 21:57:10] something like ' Welcome to the Ubuntu Classroom - https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Classroom || Support in #ubuntu || Upcoming Schedule: http://is.gd/8rtIi || Questions in #ubuntu-classroom-chat || No sessions ongoing right now' may work
<nhandler> [11/15/12 21:59:21] Let me see how I implemented setting the topic when no session is taking place.

Currently, the topic does not mention that there is no active class when a class isnt being held in the classroom. That's what prompted this request of mine.

Changed in classbot:
status: New → Fix Released
importance: Undecided → Wishlist
assignee: nobody → Nathan Handler (nhandler)
