Bug Description

Using Geda PCB version 20100929 I am trying to print to cups-pdf (Installed by apt-get install cups-pdf on Ubuntu 10.04 kernel 2.6.38-8-generic)

No error is displayed in the terminal running pcb and localhost:631 displays
completed at
Mon 19 Nov 2012 09:31:21 PM EST
"No %%BoundingBox: comment in header!"

I can export it to .ps and using evince it displays without a problem.

Doing a test, "cat printerTest.ps | lpr -P PDF" gives the same error.

Attached is the pcb file.

Thank you,
Mike

Hi Mike,

Header of your test pcb file says:

<quote>
# release: pcb 20100929
# date: Mon Nov 19 21:30:45 2012
# user: root (root)
# host: acer-mike
</quote>

Are you seriously using pcb while logged in as root ?

Not good !!!

This way you are vulnerable to malware exploiting root privileges !

Kind regards,

Bert Timmerman.
