New subordinate services not created properly

Bug Description
After creating a subordinate service, it is not laid out at all, simply placed at 0,0 of the canvas. Additionally, some events are not bound (d3 events, namely, drag being the main example). This is not the case for regular services.
Subordinate services should behave exactly as regular services behave when created.
