Regression: Launcher icons "blink" while desaturating icons when dash is opened

Bug Description
* Push the super key to open the dash
Expected Behavior:
* All laquncher icons, except the BFB fade from fully saturated to desaturated, and remain desaturated while the dash is open (as long as the mouse is not over the launcher).
Actual behavior:
* Launcher icons desaturate, then saturate again briefly before finally desaturating again.
Reproducible with latest packages from Unity & compiz trunk (running unity-team staging PPA).
See attached video. Not sure it shows it very clearly though.
