Hide launcher sensitivity is greatly decreased

New installation of Raring Ringtail 13.04. Using the 'hide launcher' facility, the sensitivity is now so greatly reduced from Precise that I need to use maximum sensitivity for it to work at all. And at that setting, it is still barely sensitive enough.
