Bug Description

I use the emote icon system in evolution quite a lot: it automatically replaces the text-emote with a graphic.
(Preferences > Composer Preferences > General tab > "Automatically insert smiley images")

The smilies are now being inserted as a red x, missing image icon .

I keep misspelling it.. its Feisty. This bug only affects the Feisty build of Ubuntu, and has occurred on multiple (testing + production) machines across our commercial network.

See also Ubuntu Bug #91149, first reported on 2007-03-10 by compucoder, which handles the same issue... And yes indeed, it's still not working properly, as it affects Ubuntu Gutsy as well...

With kind regards,

Praet Eddy

Looks like this is going to end up being the case in gutsy too, making it a full year of no smileys :(
