Bug Description
The firmwares for Broadcom SDIO wireless chipsets were removed from the linux-firmware package with the commit: http://
I believe this is in error as bcm4329/433x are not obsolete as these chipsets have been released in a range of devices this year including the Nexus 7.

Steven - the version of firmware referenced in http:// kernel. ubuntu. com/git? p=ubuntu/ linux-firmware. git;a=commit; h=a9e6e9aa504ef da315ee9cf4e506 52df460e6ff0 is for kernels older then Quantal (v3.5). The Nexus7 is based on v3.1 and carries the Broadcom firmware in a separate package due to licensing considerations.
