Bug Description

When in the workspace switcher, if you press Super+s you are taken to the window which contains your pointer. This window is not necessarily highlighted, as the highlight shows which window you came from.
For good user experience we should show users which window they will be exiting to, by highlighting the window. The current behaviour is confusing.

I dont think this bug is a duplicate of <a href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/1059549"> bug #1059549</a>.

This bug is referring to the orange highlight around the window in the window switcher. Currently the orange highlight is around the window that you came from. I think this is a bug and the orange highlight should be around the window that super+s will take you to.

Bug #1059549 is referring to which content is bright and which is dimmed when in the workspace switcher. This behaviour is inconsistent.

Actually, to support keyboard navigation (which is one of the only reasons there is a highlight), we need to be able to exit to the highlighted workspace consistently and ignore the one the pointer is over. The fix should simply be to ignore the pointer location and use the highlighted workspace if exiting via the keyboard.

Oh dear. The bug does not exist in upstream compiz. Only in the Ubuntu build :(

Hmm, and the bug does not exist in upstream Ubuntu Compiz builds either. Seems this only happens when the unityshell plugin is loaded.
