This bug is affect me also. Figuring it was config, I deleted /etc/icecast2, did apt remove icecast2 but then I still see this:

root@putin:/home/tom/scripts# apt install icecast2

Maybe I will put back the /etc/icecast2 folder and try the uninstall again it looks like not having that folder kills the uninstall.
