24px wingpanel instead of 28px

Wingpanel's height is 28px, and it is going to look better with less height, not only this, Wingpanel is supposed to be a static panel for displaying indicators so it doesn't needs that height.
It may sound strange, but it's difficult to explain :S

Pretty sure its height is supposed to be 24px, its even written in the code, but for some reason it renders as 30-ish px.

IIRC, this is dependent on your system font size. So if you have a larger font, wingpanel should expand to accommodate this, which is really important for low-vision users.

Yes, but with the default font (Droid Sans 9, I think), wingpanel is supposed to be tinier, so it‘s a bug, or I‘m wrong?

I fixed this in my computer, it‘s a bug of eGTK, Dan needs to change the padding of the class ‘wingpanel-indicator-button‘ from ‘padding: 2px‘ to ‘padding: 0px 2px‘
That was the reason of the extra 4 pixels, 2px. on top and another 2px at bottom, this removes de vertical padding and leaves the 4px padding between indicator icons.
