Notify OSD does not respect Unity's background color setting

Bug Description

Notify-OSD does not pick up the custom background colour value for Unity. It uses the average background colour even when the user specifies a custom background colour to be used. IMO, notify-osd should also respect the custom background setting for dash thus providing a consistent look across the desktop.

I agree that this inconsistency looks horrible.

However it will be a little messy sharing the colour settings between Unity and Notify OSD.

Thank you for your bug report, that's likely a duplicate though if some bug triager wants to look for older reports
