Binary package hint: keep
Under Ubuntu Edgy: when I try to backup something from a local folder to a remote ftp-folder, keep makes an error saying: "Fatal Error: Unable to create directory ftp:/<email address hidden>:21/doku" This error occurs either if the folder already exists or not. I did not forget a slash in the error message: there is only one slash after "ftp:"
The problem is not that I have no privilege to create directories. I tested this. The error message appears very quickly after starting the backup. So I think it does not ask the ftp-server anything.

Or smb-folder me/sharename/ subdir" . All the same comments apply, including that there is only one '/' after ':' in the error message. I also checked permissions to create directories, etc. And Keep finds the remote directory correctly when editing the backup definition.
