I can't see a bug here. It's just that you've run out of disk space.

Yeah that's what I think it was too.
Except that I cleared MORE space than was requested when I first styarted the upgrade.
Might the "bug" be in the space calculated by the upgrade process?
When i was in the process of upgrading I got these indications and could not investigate until after it completed.
Sorry for that, but I think the original estimat was WRONG!

So it might be a good idea to file a bug against whatever you used to upgrade your installation.
