nautilus file menu still has unmount volume option

I just installed an edubuntu server from the i386 dvd 20070416. I successfully booted a thinclient. On the client I inserted a USB stick, which I can view in nautilus.

In the nautilus window's File menu there is an option "Unmount volume". Selecting this option does strange things: it produces an "unable to unmount the selected volume" dialogue where if I "show more details" I see "umount: /media/fred/usbdisk-sdb1 is not in the fstab (and you are not root)" (copy-typed so may have typos). Underneath, the file manager window has changed to showing my home directory.

I confirm the bug is still happening on Karmic, that should get fixed once LTSP finally supports dbus or will require a nautilus patch to change that behavior (so the eject button doesn't appear when the user isn't allowed to eject/unmount the device).

http://people.canonical.com/~ogra/95_suppress_umount_in_ltsp.patch is an old patch i once added to nautilus to suppress the umount option on LTSP desktops, surely nautilus has changed a lot since but the patch might serve as a base for a new one.

For LTSP not supporting unmounting in Nautilus you should file a separate bug.
