Building dependencies can't be resolved

I'm using Ubuntu 13.04 dev and wine1.5 1.5.16-0ubuntu1 from the WineHQ ppa but the building dependencies can't be resolved:

sworddragon@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get build-dep wine1.5
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 libsane-dev : Depends: libtiff5-dev but it is not going to be installed
E: Build-dependencies for wine1.5 could not be satisfied.

This problem happens because something in the building dependencies depends on libtiff4-dev but both versions are incompatibel to each other.

I'm seeing this same issue. Is there a set of dependencies I can install in the meantime that will enable me to compile wine?

Nevermind; seems I can install these dependencies simply by:

sudo apt-get build-dep wine1.4

I'm using now Ubuntu 13.10 dev and the problem doesn't appear on wine1.4 and wine1.6 anymore.

Hi there,

in a Kubuntu 13.04 amd64 box I've made a chroot in order to compile wine 1.7.1 ... then when sending : # apt-get build-dep wine

I am getting :

 Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done

Picking 'wine1.6' as source package instead of 'wine'

The following packages have unmet dependencies:

 libsane-dev : Depends: libtiff5-dev but it is not going to be installed

E: Build-dependencies for wine could not be satisfied.

 I think it is related to this bug ... ... Am I wrong ???
