No time to test it carefully and not time to try it after reboot. I will add more information later.

Some additional infos to reproduce:

When I open a single photo and press print it works but so it does not work:

- Open a picture
- Rotate it
- Safe it
- Press Print
- Noting happens

Thank you for your bug. That works fine on gutsy, might have been fixed with the new version

Works fine on a new feisty installation also. Do you have any error on the command line if you run eog there?

This seems to be only, when the picture is the onlyest in the folder.

console output:

$ eog 15000-Unwetterhimmel.jpg
save exif data

(eog:9143): Eog-CRITICAL **: eog_wrap_list_set_current_image: assertion `EOG_IS_IMAGE (image)' failed

I think the error message comes, becouse when there are more pictures in a folder eog switches to the next after safing - in a folder where only one picture exists it failes. And after this action the print menu does not work anymore. I think it does not have anything to do with rotating but it's a easy way for testing becouse (I hope) the image does not lost quality.

looks like bug #104962, does the description matches your bug?

First I taught that's the same bug in code but the problem described there does not "work" here. eog does not freeze when I do the things described in the bug.
So I think it does not match.
