I encountered this when installing 0.10.0-3 . It happened after it prompted me for a name and then an altname for the SSL certificate. I had changed the name from "localhost" to "webapp" and then entered "webapp.xpoo.net" as the altname. After searching I tried installing again changing the name back to "localhost" and clearing altname and it installed without error.

I probably don't know what I'm talking about, but I believe entering something into altname causes the error in generating the SSL cert and interrupting the flumotion post-install script.
