A customer has reported this issue, a low impact issue, during internal application testing and would like to have this fixed.

This has minimal chance of regression, and a trivial fix.

Thanks for reporting this issue and making Ubuntu better.

From what I can see https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/precise/+source/update-manager/+pots/update-manager/de/268/+translate would be the string in question, which seems to have been fixed recently.

According to the schedule[1] it should be up for testing via -proposed on December 22nd, 2012 and be released on January 5th, 2013.

There was an update released today. I think it included the patch for this. At least I couldn't find the wrong term in LC_MESSAGES. Could you confirm that it is fixed?
