Bug Description

There is to my knowledge no way to drag something from one window to another that is not currently visible. I don't know if this is a bug or intended but alt+tab doesn't work when dragging something nor can I select anything from the unity launch bar. This is so annoying. You shouldn't have to demaximize a window and prepare to show another window before you can drag something. I'm not sure but I think even Windows does this right.

Hello,

- Install compizconfig-settings-manager
- Open compizconfig-settings-manager
- Type "scale" in the search area
- Open the scale entry on the right
- Go to open "Bindings" on the top-right
- Select a corner binding of your choice for "Initiate Windows Picker"

Now when you want to drag something from one window to another that is not currently visible, select something, drag it to the corner you choose, all opened windows will appear, move your cursor to the wanted window, the window will come up.

It seems complicated the way I explain it but it is very smooth in practical.

Hope it will help you.

John

Thanks! That works pretty well. It will do for now until it's fixed properly (hopefully...)
