Pithos is broken on Ubuntu 12.10

Using the version in the Quantal repos. When I start Pithos, no songs load. Running it from the terminal produces the following:

on Ubuntu 13.04 with Pithos 0.3.17. I've had it work sometimes, but sometimes pithos comes up and then nothing plays. No pictures from Pandora either. I get the following:

Which looked similar enough to the original description to mention it.

OK, I played with it, I stopped started, I switched the audio format back and forth, I switched channels and I let it sit for a while I was typing in the previous description and finally after dinking around, it started to work. So, I don't know if it has a minor intermittent problem or if I just needed to wait.
