Bug Description

Binary package hint: gtk2-engines

All cairo-based themes shows false gradient (progressbar).

affects maybe: cairo, ati(xorg)
ii gtk2-engines 2.10.1-0ubuntu1 theme engines for GTK+ 2.x
ii libcairo2 1.4.2-0ubuntu1 The Cairo 2D vector graphics library
ii xserver-xorg-video-ati 6.6.3-2ubuntu6 X.Org X server -- ATI display driver

(3D is configured and beryl is installed but disabled)

Actually i figured out, that the problem occurs only when EXA is enabled in xorg.conf:
       Option "AccelMethod" "EXA"

Uncommenting this line solve the problem. I have this from https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BerylOnEdgy when i was trying to get beryl to run.

If EXA is still needed for 3d (beryl), than there is somewhere a bug. If not, than this problem is solved.

This should be fixed by now. Feel free to reopen if you can reproduce it with 7.10 or newer.
