Bug Description
This was discovered with chrome, but maybe an issue for other windows that draw their own decorations.
You can reproduce the issue by opening chrome or a new window in chrome, maximize it, hide it, unhide it and unmaximizing the window. You should now have chrome with both unity/compiz decorations.
Specific to chrome you can right click on empty space to the right of your tabs (the area drawn by chrome) and turn on use system title bar and borders. This appears to have no effect. Turning it back off brings you back the the original window decorations drawn by chrome only.
This makes me think unity/compiz loses track of state somewhere along the way.
affects: | unity → compiz |
