HUD 'update status' doesn't point to gwibber update box

When I type 'update status' into HUD in 12.10 I don't get the option for gwibber's update status box. I did in 12.04
Selecting update status from the messaging menu does work. HUD seems to work for other things - this is the only option I used regularly

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

I can confirm the bug. However i noted that HUD doesn't work with any entry in message indicator --change empathy status, webapps' options, open chat window when someone talks to me..
Not sure if I should file another, more general bug about this

I've just checked and it doesn't work for any of the messaging menu options for me either. Am tempted to edit the title and description, but don't know if I should

as we both confirmed the problem was not just involving gwibber, I added unity and ayatana as affected, to give this report more visibility

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect 1070783 and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

I've just run apport-collect and I can confirm this bug still present in 13.04
Online Status/empathy/webapps can not be selected using HUD (current gwibber/friends doesn't have entries in messaging indicator)

just to update, the effect of this bug is still present, now in 13.10. As it no longer apply to gwibber -now friends-, should we create a new bug report?
