Qt 4.8.1 does not render fonts correctly

Bug Description

Qt 4.8.1 in Ubuntu 12.04 does not render fonts correctly (they are rendered way to heavy). This problem only occurs with the style set to Gtk+ or Desktop in qtconfig. Manually setting it to Cleanlooks and choosing another font except the Ubuntu Family solves the problem.

Does that still apply for 12.10?
If so, does only changing the font fix it too?
