The line where it freeze, I can see by removing "quiet splash" in the boot line :

[17.894790] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKC] enabled at IRQ 9
[17.894831] ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:02:02.1[A] -> Link [LNKC] -> GSI 9 (level, low) -> IRQ 9

I tried with all IRQ : can't boot
Impossible to disable the IRQ in the BIOS.
I can boot on windows but if I access to the winmodem by "Talk to the modem" : freeze :/
Can't boot on live 5.10, 6.06, 6.10 and 7.04.

Oh ! I boot on recovery mode : 1 time today on 100 try ... Why this time ??????? I don't know :/

I was just having a very similar problem with my T23. On a hunch I removed the MiniPCI card which contains the ethernet and modem devices, and I was able to boot again. Putting the card back in caused the boot to freeze again, so it looks like my ethernet/modem card is shot :(

Removing the MiniPCI card is pretty straightforward, but refer to the manual if you get stuck: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-4UYM3F
