Bug Description
On Ubuntu 12.04, when following the instructions in the "creating a wikipedia lens" article, and running "quickly install" on a desktop running in a virtual machine (no real 3d), the desktop seems to perform a partial restart, after which nothing works (the screen is garbled, windows appear or disappear seemingly at random and the Dash also randomly starts or not).
Everything gets back to normal after logging out and back in.
