Bug Description
This happened for the first time.
It happened directly afther booting.
I don't see the KDE graphical interface but i am able to write these lines with Konqueror.
But since October 2006 I have the problem with edgy and now with Feisty that it does not recognize the Monitor and Video-card
after boot.
And so the Screen-res changes from 1280x1024 to 1024x768 and the Videodriver changes from NVIDIA Series7 nv or nvidia to VESA
This error happens never when the Computer is less than about 8 hours off.
(When the Computer is only a few hours off - the driver and resolution are always correct.)
The computer is completley turned off (no standby)
Is it possible that the Nvidia-card has a Bios which looses its defaults?
The Computer is a Athlon64 with Nvidia7300
